Glass Decoration
In the past it was a very costly and difficult process to get special designs onto glass surfaces. Technology has come a long way since then, and with ORAFOL's Glass Decor film grades you can easily create special effects.
These can range from a frosted look, through to creating an impression of etched, cut or sandblasted glass.

You can even have a hoar frost effect on your glass surfaces. The applications are countless - glass doors, shop windows, room dividers, glass walls in meeting rooms, corridors and airport lounges. We even have applications for window covering for privacy purposes e.g. in banks, or for security purposes, e.g. on airport windows facing runways, laboratory windows or hospital windows and partitions. When deciding what film to use for a floor graphic application, it is important to consider the length of term the film will be needed for. For example, some will be for long-term use e.g. directional signs in a hospital, whereas, other floor graphics may only be needed for a short limited period e.g. for a seasonal holiday promotion in a supermarket or any other short-term marketing campaign. Here easy removability could come in as a factor. Also, the degree of traffic that the graphic will be exposed to has to be taken into account. In laminates, we recommend ORAGUARD® 250AS/255AS which comes with a special anti-slip surface.
Window Graphics
Window graphics is an excellent way of utilising the window area on e.g. buses or shop windows for advertising or creativity in design where a great degree of transparency is required.
ORAJET® is our leading brand in ideal films for this purpose.
Further Information
Our ORAJET® line of window graphics films are perforated with 1,5mm holes and our permanent glass-clear adhesive ensures the best possible adhesion also at the edges of your decoration. The material is available with 50% or 60% printable surface, and for short and medium-term graphics.
ORAFOL holds certification according to AGB D5322 §22a StVZO for all window graphic films in the ORAFOL range, in combination with ORAGUARD® 297 over-laminating film. In addition to this, the removable products ORAJET® 3636 and ORAJET® 3635 have been certified according to DIN 4102-1, B1 applied onto glass.
Wall Art
The application of creative designs onto walls, was for a long time something mainly seen in public buildings e.g. business centres, meeting rooms, shops, restaurants, bars or fitness centres.
Now, it is becoming increasingly popular to incorporate these designs into private homes.

The only limitation is your imagination! You can choose from plotter cut subtle design enhancements (a small design element or border) to a large format full wall printed graphic for a more dramatic effect.

Illuminated Installations
Backlit displays are very effective attention-grabbers day and night, be it for outdoor advertising or informational signage, for indoor shop promotions or on exhibtion stands.
The use of the illuminated displays are countless. ORAFOL offer translucent cast films, which have been specifically developed for this special application.

The ORACAL® 8800 Translucent Premium Cast is available in no less than 57 vivid colours and it also comes with a superb satin finish to prevent any unwanted light reflections. With its outdoor durability of up to 10 years, this material is the ideal solution for all types of backlit displays - from indoor displays e.g. at exhibition stands to outdoor promotional signs that are erected for longer durations. The outstanding colour match between reflected and transmitted light makes the material number one for illuminated signs. Is your specific customer colour not part of the ORAFOL standard range? In addition, the ORAFOL product range also includes an opaque cast 'Block Out' film, for lightboxes where only parts of the design should be illuminated. The material is easy to process on cutting plotters.
