ORAFOL Europe GmbH meets the high international standard according to ISO 45001:2018
Commitment to an annual independent review of occupational safety by external auditors
Oranienburg, Germany, 26 July 2023 – The international ORAFOL Group, a leading manufacturer of self-adhesive special films and high-performance films, is expanding its own Integrated Management System in accordance with international standards in occupational health and safety.
On 20 July, ORAFOL Europe GmbH received confirmation that the company has implemented a management system for safety and health at work in accordance with the ISO 45001:2018 standard.
The initial audit systematically analysed health and safety risks and reviewed existing occupational health and safety policies. The successful certification confirms that ORAFOL has traditionally maintained sustainable and very effective programmes in the areas of occupational safety, occupational healthcare, health management, ergonomics and hazardous materials management. The future annual reviews by an external auditor for occupational safety are intended to ensure that the high safety standards for the workforce that ORAFOL has established at its headquarters in Oranienburg are continuously developed according to international standards.
