Innovation in digital printing: ORALITE® UV Traffic Sign Printer XP eXtra Performing

The latest generation of the large-format hybrid printing system ORALITE ® UV Traffic Sign Printer XP eXtra Performing impresses with its speed in production mode and top print quality. ORAFOL has developed the versatile LED UV inkjet printer in co-operation with its long-standing partner, the printing specialist Agfa. It is perfectly designed for use with ORAFOL UV digital printing inks and all retroreflective films from the ORALITE® Traffic Control range. With a media and print width of up to 3.20 metres, it is also ideally suited to the needs of manufacturers of premium traffic signs. The high-speed hybrid inkjet system prints with six spot colours with UV LED curing. The printing system can print on two rolls at the same time, allowing two jobs to be processed in parallel if required. Due to the low energy output of the LED lamps, the printer is also suitable for printing on thin, heat-sensitive materials.

Well proven, very robust and universally applicable: ORALITE® ECO Traffic Printer

In co-operation with Roland DG, ORAFOL is also presenting a comprehensive system for eco-solvent printing. The ORALITE® ECO Traffic Printer fulfils the requirements for the production of permanent and temporary traffic signs, including CE approval if required. This printing system from ORAFOL is also designed to guarantee print products with a long service life. At the same time, the ORALITE® ECO Traffic Printer is characterised by resource efficiency, as it generates low operating costs compared to other commercially available systems thanks to very low maintenance and service costs. The ORAFOL ORALITE® 5017 ECO Solvent Digital Printing Ink, specially developed for use with ORALITE® reflective films, is optimally matched to the printing system.

Responsibility is in our DNA: PVC-free films ORALITE® XP5200 Economy Grade

ORALITE® XP5200 Economy Grade is a retroreflective film that complements ORAFOL's portfolio of Type A glass bead products with a PVC-free alternative. The highly flexible films in the range are suitable for a wide range of applications, particularly where a minimum level of reflectivity is sufficient. 

They also have excellent adhesion to metallic surfaces. Thanks to its PU top coat, ORALITE® XP5200 Economy Grade is extremely resistant to yellowing and weathering and has a shelf life of up to four years. Particularly energy-efficient and environmentally friendly: only a greatly reduced proportion of organic solvents are used in the production of the ORALITE® XP series.
