About ORAFOL Group

Based in Black Creek, Georgia, ORAFOL Americas Inc., an ORAFOL Europe GmbH subsidiary since 2006, changed its name from ORACAL USA in a continuous effort to better align the ORAFOL Group of companies.

ORAFOL Americas Inc., Graphic Solutions Division, manufactures premium vinyl graphic films, digital media, laminating films, and reflective products used in the signage, graphics, digital printing, screen printing, and traffic and safety applications. Additionally, ORAFOL Americas markets a wide range of industrial tapes for applications ranging from the solar industry to point of purchase applications. The company’s distribution network spans the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Black Creek facility is one of the most modern of its kind, in the Americas, and ensures both high quality product and rapid turn-over time for delivery. This facility completed an expansion in 2009 that included approximately 160,000 square-feet of additional storage space for finished goods, and close to 50,000 square-feet of ground-floor space for packaging and shipping. In addition to the plant expansion, capital investment in an adhesive coating line and automated roll retrieval system brought the total capital investment project to $20 million.

Based in Avon, CT, ORAFOL Americas Inc., Reflective Solutions Division, (formerly Reflexite Corporation) was acquired by ORAFOL Europe GmbH in August 2011. The company supplies a full range of reflective solutions to a variety of industries and applications including traffic safety, vehicle conspicuity, and high visibility work wear. We are dedicated to saving lives by partnering with our customers to develop reflective solutions that increase visibility and recognition. The product offerings include the ORALITE® brand.

In an effort to keep up with increased demand, in June of 2013, the Avon facility completed an expansion of 58,000 sq ft that included the integration of a conversion facility and additional capital equipment.

The ORAFOL Precision Technology Solutions produces specialty tooling used in the manufacture of microstructured optical films and plastic lenses. Most of the tooling goes through precision cutting and electroforming processes. These tools are shipped to ORAFOL facilities around the world. The Precision Technology Solutions used to be a part of Reflexite Corporation, which was acquired by ORAFOL in 2011.

In 2012 the ORAFOL Precision Technology Solutions was expanded, increasing the ORAFOL New York state facility from 2.600 m² to over 7.000 m².

The 4.400 m² is housing new machinery and specialized processes to make the tooling used to manufacture specialized microstructures that have a wide variety of uses, including reflective materials, concentrator lenses used to produce electricity from sunlight; and lighting diffusers and brightness films used in computer display applications.

ORAFOL Europe acquired Rowland Technologies Inc of Wallingford, CT, USA in 2017. ORAFOL Advanced Polymer Films is a specialty manufacturer of high-quality polymeric films with a unique extrusion process and proprietary in-house tooling techniques.

Rowland’s technical excellence together with ORAFOL’s worldwide distribution network makes the newly created Advanced Polymer Films Division the first choice in outstanding film quality and reliable local service.

ORAFOL Automotive Graphics is one of the largest producers of OEM automotive graphics in the world. Established in 1968 (as Kay Automotive), the corporate mission includes a strategic focus on the development, design, and manufacture of automotive trim products while remaining committed to providing excellence in quality, environmental compliance, value and responsiveness to our customers.

ORAFOL’s current product lines include Decals, Flexible Ornamentation, Sill Protectors, Bumper Protectors, Gravel & Abrasion Protective Films, Retro Reflectives, Kayguard Transit Film, and Functional Films. In 2019, ORAFOL acquired Kay Automotive, now operating under the ORAFOL name.

The former ORAFOL Reflective Solutions Canada office in Mississauga was in 2013 merged with the ORAFOL business to form ORAFOL Canada. ORAFOL Canada stocks the full range of products covering all of ORAFOL’s three main markets: Graphic Products, Reflective Solutions, and Adhesive Tapes Systems in its 2.230 m² distribution center in Oakville, Ontario.

NUPRO Advanced TPU Films is a world leading manufacturer in the aliphatic TPU market for high quality, optically clear films. Based in Massachusetts, the company was founded in 2015, and in 2021 NUPRO Advanced TPU Films was integrated into the ORAFOL Group. NUPRO products are used as components in a vast range of demanding surface protection applications including transportation, electronics, aviation, medical and wind energy.

ORAFOL Australia is continuing its expansion and has recently relocated its NSW facility to a larger corporate office and distribution facility in Erskine Park, NSW. The 4000m² purpose-built office is in line with our dynamic growth, and customers will be able to experience our impressive new facilities which will include a brand new showroom and a training facility in 2021. The new facility has the full range of our Graphics, Reflective and Adhesive Tape products, along with our new range of Vorteil products distributed by ORAFOL. As well as these brand new premises in Sydney, we also have distribution centres in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.

ORAFOL has successfully supplied into Australia for over 25 years, and this commitment to the Australian market will now ensure our customers will be able to procure a complete spectrum of ORAFOL products locally through our operations head office.

ORAFOL Middle East is the newest member of the ORAFOL Group. Located in Dubai, it holds modern and extensive warehousing facilities as well as an experienced sales support team.

From the Dubai facility the full Middle East region is covered with products from ORAFOL’s range of reflective and graphics products.

ORAFOL’s South African Reflective Solutions branch is based in Johannesburg, a vibrant and modern city in the heart of South Africa. ORAFOL is a leading supplier of reflective marking films in South Africa, a position which grew from SABS regulation 104, which was introduced in late 1990. Since then, business has flourished and ORAFOL is now recognised as one of the main trusted suppliers of reflective materials to the Southern African HGV industry.

From the modern facility in Johannesburg, ORAFOL supplies today all markets where safety and visibility is needed. Main markets include the mining industry and the traffic sign market.

The ORAFOL facility in Japan is located in the large cosmopolitan city of Tokyo. The office opened in 1993, and is today a full range supplier of all products by ORAFOL. This includes graphic products, reflective solutions and adhesive tape systems.

The modern facility in the heart of Tokyo includes both a Japanese staffed sales office. and extensive warehousing facilities, so customers are ensured rapid deliveries of all main product lines.
