CAD

The ORAFOL CAD department utilize the latest systems to ensure compatibility with each OEM manufacturers standard around the world. Producing the plans for tooling is a critically essential step in the production process, a quarter millimeter difference can completely change the way a part fits. The CAD department quality checks each drawing to ensure it meets the specification outlined for the part before sending it to the next stage in development. Working with existing data is always possible. However, if math data doesn’t exist for the part planned for production, the CAD staff will create it from the ground up to your specifications.

Design

The design department is the core of many projects produced at ORAFOL Automotive Graphics. Manufacturers occasionally have a part approved and ready to go straight into production, however, many times there are changes made to the part before its ready to be produced. ORAFOL designers are fully equipped with the latest technology to ensure our capability to create innovation design and styling concepts that will meet or exceed our customers expectations. An idea is all that is needed to put our design staff to work creating several concepts for a part. With lifelike renderings, it is possible to see how a part will look on the target vehicle before a prototype is produced.

Prototyping

A full-scale prototype can be produced to mock up a vehicle long before production of the final product. The combination of the design and CAD departments and our advanced digital printing technology help make prototypes a valuable resource on the path to production of a new part. Prototypes allow the OEM to make any adjustments needed in size, color and shape to a part and ensure the part meets their specification.
